These store for up to 1 month, maybe more, at room temperature. Jester has a fairly thin skin so it is great sliced and roasted or stuffed. Try it as a main entree and stuff with wild rice, kale and sausage, or with tomatoes, peppers and corn. Or baste with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and roast or grill as a side dish. You can also microwave whole squashes for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on squash size. Then cut in half and scoop out seeds after the squash has cooled for a minute or two. One more option is to prepare in a toaster oven @ 425F for 20 to 25 minutes.
